[ARCHIVED] students saying password not working.Can't get new ones

There's been way too many of my students saying they either keep forgetting their passwords to log in or they swear they do it right and it wont allow them access.

Regardless, they then go and ask to restart a new password and claim they wait and wait and wait for someone to send them a link to redo. Yet it never comes. What's going on here?

Some of my students are having the same issue.  Did you get an answer for this problem?

I am in the process of figuring out the easiest way to explain the registering log in process to my students. I have very young high school students and I think when you "invite" them into the course from that add people section, it puts them right in and they don't realize they still haven't officially made an acct and need to go check their emails to finish the process. It's a bit confusing since they're allowed to use it and do things before they have their acct set up so they assume they're done. That's what happened with some of mine. Still trying to figure out what some of the other issues were...
