[ARCHIVED] to change back to an old password that does not meet the current criteria

I am a parent of ES student. I accidently changed my son password, thinking that i am changing my own PW. My son is so attached to the pw has been having sine KG. As i try to change back, I found that it does not meet the current pw criteria. Please kindly advice.

I am sorry your post went so long without a reply!

It looks like your son's account is managed by their school district. Since they use a different authentication process, Canvas does not set those passwords or requirements. Your best bet would be to reach out to the district's help desk!
