Can you please provide more details about what you are trying to accomplish? Are you a student trying to upload a document as an Assignment Submission? A screenshot would be helpful.

@NamrataPatel For assistance with this issue, we would need a little more information about why/where you are trying to upload a document and what specific trouble you are encountering.  If you are trying to upload a document as an assignment submission, I highly recommend the Assignment Submissions (Students) video overview that shows how several types of assignment can be submitted.  Additionally it might be helpful to reference some of these Canvas guides:
