Withdrawing from a course is usually something that you need to take care of at your school via their Registration department.  The specific details of withdrawing will be different from one school to another, but once you have withdrawn from a course, should should be dropped from the course in Canvas soon after that.  Again, this is something that people at your school could answer for you.
