As a student I want to create a link of a folder in my files and post it on a discussion reply, the folder contains some pictures related to my assignment.

Hi @gcad18337 Welcome to the Canvas Community!
I strongly suspect that this cannot be done.
The normal route would be to go to your account>click on the name of the folder>go to the Address bar in your browser and select/copy the URL>then past that URL into the discussion.
However, nobody has access to your account area except you, so anybody trying to follow the link would be denied access.
You will need to individually embed those picture into the discussion https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10700-4212190965
Alternately, you could save those images to a shareable location like DropBox, then give your teacher and all your classmates access to that shareable location. That does not seem particularly practical.
