When I create a quiz in canvas, I often need JPG files for the students to see. I load them in the question box and sometimes as the answer choice. When I preview the picture, it is visible. Sometimes, students cannot see the picture when using the canvas app to access the quiz. Sometimes, students can see the picture. It’s about 70/30 for students that can vs cannot see the picture. Any advice on fixing?
My only suggestion would be to make sure the images are optimized so they are small enough (file size, less than 300k) in case students are accessing the quiz over a cellular connection and the file is taking a while to load (or not load at all). Also, it's a good practice to remind students to be on the latest version of the Canvas Student app. Not saying this is the solution, but it might help figure out which devices are having issues.
I wanted to follow up and see if you were able to find a solution to your question. Thanks!
