Conference Issue

I want to have a Conference with my students. Previously, I'd dragged the Conference 'tab' down/out of sight (settings - navigation) to limit the amount of 'tabs' my students saw (less clutter). Now that I've dragged it back, I noticed it doesn't show up when I preview my home page with 'Student View'. Will the Conference 'tab' show up for the students  when I create a Conference? I'm concerned that they can't see the 'tab'.

Hi  @williat1 , thanks for your question.

I'm wondering if it''s because no Conference has been created, therefore they have no access to the button as yet. Could that be the case? 

If not, you have done all of the right things (good on you), then contact Canvas Support.

Thank you! I'm hoping that is why it doesn't show. I can't recall them being able to see it prior to "cleaning up" my home page. Thank you again!

Yes! You were right! It shows up after you create a conference! Thanks again!
