Converting Classic Quizzes to New Quizzes

I currently have all of my quizzes/tests/exams under "Classic Quizzes". Is it possible to convert all of these to a "New Quiz" format easily - within the existing master template for each course?

Hi

I've tried following the directions for migrating classic quizzes to new quizzes but it does not produce a usable/functional quiz. I chose questions from existing question banks to create a test quiz and then did the migration.  I created three question groups.  When I open the new quiz it showed three groups (?) but said there were not enough questions in the group to meet the number I chose (I chose 15 from one group, 10 from another, and 2 from another).  

Can someone please help me figure out how to automatically convert my classic quizzes to new quizzes?  I have many, many quizzes and exams and it will be a crazy amount of work to recreate these.

Thanks for bringing this up! Many of our faculty are also befuddled as the tool is not producing a usable outcome. We're looking for any hopeful news of a conversion tool, especially as applies to question banks and item banks.

I need to know if CANVAS will have the resources to provide a workable solution for old to new quiz conversion for this fall. 

If not, I plan to hire some extra help to do it manually.    I estimate the manual conversion will take approximately 20-30 hours.
