Creating Pairing Codes as an Admin

My institution has self-registration disabled which means that students and teachers cannot create pairing codes for parent observers.

Is there any way as an admin that I can create a pairing code?

Hi Elizabeth -

Yes, there is a way for you to create the pairing codes as an admin. The Pairing Code CSV is a relatively new feature in Canvas, but many schools have appreciated its addition! Please reply if you have any questions about the process.

I too have this question. As an Admin, I'd like a mass export of pairing codes. I understand they will expire in 7 days, but we're going to do a campaign which promotes parents creating their observer accounts within a short time frame and we would provide the pairing code to them. 

I followed your instructions, but it appears the directions were for an instructor, not an Admin. (An admin can perform these steps, but only if they go into each course)

Just following up on this issue... Did you find a way for an admin to export pairing codes for ALL students without going in to each course?  Thanks for any help!

I'm looking for a solution to this as well. Admin should be able to do it from the Account User Details and not have to go into . each . single . course. That's like 50 courses PER learner to pair to just one observer. (In Vocational Ed the Observer app will be the Workplace Trainer.)
