Hi
Is there way to set up so when instructor goes to add a File to Module, the File list would be organized in Folder Structure instead of list of Files. In this case, each folder has more than 100 file, and there are a lot of Folders, the instructor would have to scroll all the way through all these files to get to the 1(ONE) file that he needed. Here is his idea and need voted if there isn't 1 solution for this yet.
The idea sounds very reasonable. The folders are listed in bold text, but I agree, it would be easier to expand the folder of interest to drill down to the file you're looking for.
I have voted : )
The idea does sound very reasonable but with low votes, I am thinking it may not be implemented any time soon.
What I'd like to know is what everyone else does in Canvas in lieu of a folder structure? How does everyone organize their files to easily access them?
As an example, we have thousands of images relating to medical cases and these are currently stored within a folder structure. Adding each of these to Canvas will make a list which is very hard for others to scroll through.
Is creating a Canvas Course to use as a file repository the only way this can be achieved?
@qnguyen ,
We are giving the Canvas Admins area a little bit of love (especially questions that are really, really old) and just want to check in with you. This will also bring this question new attention.
