Formula (mean) question in quizzes?

Hello! My faculty member is concerned that her stats formula question for the mean is not working properly because an :smileyx: is displaying. I've included two screenshots.

How does it look to you all?

Change [e] to something else.

You cannot use e as a variable. e is the constant for the base of natural logarithms 2.71828...

Canvas recognizes it as a variable, but then treats it like the constant in any formulas.

By the way, you can have variable names longer than one character.
