How do I fix an accessibility bug?

request to fix an accessibility bug?

When a link is created, an icon is added that indicates the link takes a user to an external site.  While the “tool tip” is correct, JAWS 19 with the most recent version of FireFox reads the alt text for the link as “Linkstoanexternalsite.”  There are no spaces and it is pronounced incorrectly. Can anyone help us with this?

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but you should be able to edit the alt text for that link using the HTML view: How do I use the HTML view in the Rich Content Editor as an instructor?  Is there anything in the HTML code for that link that would cause JAWS to read it as "Linkstoanexternalsite"?
