Some of my older modules in 1 of my courses has disappeared. How can I retrieve them? Will I still be able to access student work on the module?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Susan,
If they were deleted from the course it is possible to retrieve them and if there were any student submissions on assignments or quizzes those should also come back. In your course look at the URL in the web browser; it will be something like https://schoolname.instructure.com/courses/somenumber. After the number add "/undelete" so it looks like https://schoolname.instructure.com/courses/somenumber/undelete. This will show you all items deleted from your course and give you the ability to restore them.

Thank you so much. I was able to retrieve the modules but it did not retrieve the contents in each module. Do you know what is the best way to retrieve the contents?
Susan,
When you were on the undelete page were there other item listed such as the items that were in the Modules? You may have to retrieve them individually as well.
Rick
Having a similar issue as the user above, I do not even know how the modules were deleted, because they would be used again next year. But I cam across this thread, I was able to retrieve Module Headings but not the content. And it is not on the undelete page where the module headings were. Also neither myself, or co-teacher deleted them, is there anyway to tell how/who did?
