How do we list our app in EduApps center?

We are looking for information on the process of listing our app in EduApp center.

1. We would like to know the complete process that goes into achieving this task.
2. Will there be any cost involved?
3. Is there any dedicated support channel for EduApp center.
4. What happens once, we submit the form, and how long will EduApp center take to verify the app and list in the app center of Canvas.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The link you provided is to a Canvas Communty user from IvyTech, not to Canvas or Instructure support.

According to the Twitter updates on the site, the last update was 18 days ago, but there is no indication of how long the request sat there before it was updated.

Thanks for your inquiry into listing an application with Edu App Center. There is no fee to list your LTI v1.0 or v1.1 application on Edu App Center. Once you submit your application, it will queue into our partner support team who will review the submission and reach out with any questions. We're typically looking for easy to understand information on the application, configuration and who to contact with questions or to inquire on establishing a relationship with your company to utilized the application. There's a place under testing instructions where you can include configuration information for us to test out the configuration of the tool in Canvas. We only have a few people able to review these at this time, so if you haven't heard a response in a week, please reach back out.

2. Is the IMS certificate mandatory to have an app listed?

I submitted an app for review about a month ago, but haven't seen any change. Is there something I need to make the app visible to the app center?

1. LTI v1.2 isn't supported by Canvas, but you should still be able to submit your tool configuration the same way at Edu App Center.
2. No, IMS certification is not required to be listed
3. This can be helpful to ask the configuring user to input required variables such as a client ID value or subm-domain. An example is: this app listing where they require a host name in their configuration.

Thanks for all the info Karl, I come with one more question. We were able to understand all the app placements except for Resource_selection placement, could you please shed some light on this as we were not able to find this as an option anywhere in Canvas.

Resource selection is the origin of deep linking or content item and has been considered deprecated in Canvas. You can ignore that placement in Eduappcenter.
