How to organize quizzes into categories? (ie Lecture Quizzes vs Lab Quizzes)

I am an instructor and have many practice quizzes on Canvas for students to take to help themselves review for our exams. However, right now all of the practice quizzes appear in one long list of quizzes. I'd like to categorize the quizzes (lecture review vs. lab review quizzes) and also order them so that it's easier for students to find the quiz they are looking for. Is there any way to do this with non-graded practice quizzes?

 @emichael2 ‌, the best way to do this is in Modules. In Modules you can organize them any way you want and include any additional course content as well.

Hi all,

Although I understand Kona Jones her respons, I don't think it's the solution you were looking for.  I'm also struggling with this problem. It would be wonderful to have to possibility to 'archive' quizzes, like we can do with files. For now I'm looking for question banks as an option, but I suppose we have to start from scratch with this.

I agree guusjes.  I haven't had so many practice quizzes that I have run into this issue but I can see how this could be problematic.  Maybe functionality in the Quizzes menu like there is in Modules, where you can add text headers and reorganize quizzes in either the assignment or practice groups would be helpful.  It might make for a good feature idea.

I am using standards based grading and am weighting the categories of my assignments and would like to do this to quizzes as well.  Is this possible?
