Thank God the answer is a resounding, "YES", or at least most of the time. Otherwise, I would be in serious trouble, or at least overworked cleaning up my mistakes!
You can view the history of a page, then revert to a previous version in the history. This guide will help, How do I view the history of a page in a course?
This has worked for me 99.999999% - Okay, I made up that stat, but I think you get what I mean!
