Import Google Calendar into Canvas?

I know that you can export a Canvas calendar into a Google Calendar,

BUT can you import a Google Calendar into the Canvas calendar?

Stefanie Sanders provide an answer to a similar question here Take Google Calendar and Import into Canvas?? .  At this time the, the export only goes one way.

There is a feature request out there right now as well Import calendar from ICS file .
