Importing from Moodle

Currently we're using Moodle and I have a lot of quizzes/homeworks/exams that I've painstakingly put into moodle format.  How do I download those into the format that Canvas will recognize?  I'm not sure what version of Moodle we are using but the file types that are listed on the Canvas import screen don't match with anything I can find in Moodle

This doesn't answer my question at all.  I've seen this guide.  I understand how to "import".  My question is: How do I download my moodle quizzes/exams/etc..  into the format that Canvas will recognize?   The file types that are listed on the Canvas import screen don't match with anything I can find in Moodle

Many apologies that my initial response wasn't helpful.  Since I've only had a very limited experience with Moodle (it was many years ago), I really am not familiar with the current Moodle product.  So, I turned to Google to see if I could find any resources for you.  I came across these items:

These are just a handful of site that *may* be of help...but I wasn't too sure if other search results would be helpful or not.  I hope they will be of help to you in some way.

I went through all of these links and in that first link there's a lot of

discussion of things to try and it's like they're speaking a foreign

language. I don't know what Examview or Respondus are. I only have the

options of importing my question bank to GIF, XML and XHTML which don't

work for Canvas.

One thread suggested doing a back up of my entire course and making it an

.mbz file.(first image), but I don't have those options (second image).

I appreciate you trying to help out. I really want to get this fixed

without having to take a course in computer programming (which I think

might be my most time saving option given how much time I've already wasted

so far) My classes have roughly 300-500 questions in moodle for homeworks,

quizzes, lab manual assignments and exams. If this can't be fixed I'm

likely not going to use canvas for any of this. Manually entering 300-500

questions per class into canvas is not something I have the time for.

It's also been mentioned in the Q and A answer section of the training

session to make a QTI file of my question bank. Again, not sure what a QTI

file is or how to make one from the formats I have available to me
