In Studio microphone not working

I tried to record a lecture in Studio, but it kept saying my microphone stopped working. I tried several times and kept having the same situation. But my microphone works fine in Zoom meetings. What am I doing wrong?  Thank you!

Hi  @janice_bellingh ,

We have had some teachers report the same issue and in most cases what has resolved the issue is them tapping the microphone to enable it then it just works perfectly.

If you adopt the methods given, you will find your solution..

• Go to Windows key and choose the Control Panel.
• Then click the Troubleshooting..
• Under Hardware and Sound, choose Troubleshoot Audio Recording.
• If you see the "Which of these device do you want to troubleshoot", select your microphone.
• In the Recording Audio Wizard, choose next and follow steps.
