Has there ever been a thought of having subject area communities in commons? For instance, I am a voice, speech, accent specialist in the performing arts and president of The Voice and Speech Trainers Association. I think it could be incredibly helpful for those of us in Academia to be able to share what we have created in Canvas. It would help us teachers be more efficient in that we wouldn't all be duplicating the same/similar assignments, tests, materials, etc. I've discussed this with people in our academia focus area and we all think it would be helpful.
This could be just as helpful in any area: philosophy, biochemistry, electrical engineering, Renaissance literature, languages, etc.
I think that would be a great idea!! I am just learning canvas due to having to teach online. I feel like after 30 yrs of teaching, I have to reinvent the wheel. It would be great to get some ideas from other teachers in your specific content area!!!
