Posting your assignments on a created discussion assignment

Hi, I'm new here and would like to understand how to use canvas. I have an assignment due today, and I'm supposed to submit the assignment to a graded discussion post, how do I go about it.

Hi @Dubex 

You generally reply to a discussion, much as you would reply to a post on social media like Facebook. These guides will help:

I did exactly that , but due to my groups conversation also being in discussion, I received a 0 grade because my answer wasnt in my original post .  As i thought this was the place to hold our discussion, my answer was several post later.  you can see my post with my answers and the date pasted showing it was submitted 3 days prior to due date . so i copied and pasted into the professors in box.  still no grade.

I would lilke to make a simple suggestion.  Make our first assignment Orientation to Canvas ..simple solution
