How do I manage rubrics in a course?

I am having issues with creating a rubric. I set the criteria and ratings, but when I set my points, my ratings change. I have calculated and did the math with MY ratings, but any time I set the points it goes to CANVAS ratings. How do I prevent that from happening?

Hello @AGonz ...

I'm not sure I fully understand your question.  To my knowledge, Canvas does not have their own ratings.  Whatever you supply for your ratings in a rubric should be the ones that are saved.  Can you provide an example (with a screenshot or two) where you are inputting ratings into a rubric and how they are being saved?  Maybe a "before" and "after" screenshot would be helpful.
