Hi Everyone,
I just received a email from a teacher whose student moved last week and today when grades are due, the student was removed from her Canvas course. I am able to see the students grades in our test account, but do you know of a way to re-enroll a student in the live instance once there user account disappears?
Thank you,
David Ross

DavidRoss, I’m not sure how your school “removed” the student, but for us we can go to the gradebook and click on the Gear icon (top right) and “show concluded enrollments” or “show inactive enrollments” - try both because it would depend on how you remove students from classes. What this does is show the students that had been concluded or made inactive and their grades. If this doesn’t work then just go to People and manually re-add the student to the course. This isn’t ideal, but all their grades will show up as soon as they are out back in the course. Then check the grades and remove the student again as soon as you’re done.
Hope this helps!
Thank You Kona, I will check these steps out.
We are giving the Canvas Admins area a little bit of love and just want to check in with you. This will also bring this question new attention.
