Removing Submitted Assignments

How do you remove an assignment that you have already submitted? My professor has requested that I do so because I submitted it too early, and says that since the assignment is still open I should be able to.

Unfortunately, students (and instructors, too) are not able to remove submitted assignments that have been submitted for any given assignment.  The best thing that your instructor can do is to ignore your submission for now, and when you are ready to submit again (assuming that your instructor is allowing re-submissions), you should be able to do so.  When you submit an assignment again, only the most recently submission will show for you (not any past submissions).  But, never fear.  Your instructor has a complete history of all submissions for a given assignment...which are all time and date stamped.  So, your instructor would be able to cycle through your first, second, third, etc. submission for the given assignment and grade the appropriate one.  I hope this helps a bit.  Sing out if you have any other questions about this...thanks!  Take care, stay safe, and be well.
