This is a followup to "Assignment Override via Canvas API", posted a week ago.
I've gone back and forth with Canvas Support and they say that assignment overrides via the API will NOT work, because "they may negatively affect user visibility."
BUT, they worked for me all of last academic year, and stopped working this year. Why?
What DOES work is to have Canvas Support RESET THE USER CACHE. I've had them do that several times by phone.
Is there some Web UI user action or API call that can RESET THE USER CACHE?
Canvas Support suggested changing my time zone, saving that, changing it back, and saving again.
That did NOT work for me.
