Is anyone else having problems with the strikethrough and highlighting annotation tools working? These tools would really help in providing feedback on student work, but they are hit and miss. Am I doing something wrong?

@kallen5 , greetings! Sorry to hear that you are having these problems! My recommendation is to submit this to Canvas Support. To do this, click on the Help link and "Report a Problem."

Go into the html portion of the editor and surround the words you want to strike out with <del> </del>.
Exmple: <del>Deleted text</del> will result in a line striking through the words Deleted text.
@eo7942 ...
Unfortunately, I don't think your response helps to answer the original question. I believe @kallen5 is asking about tools used in the Canvas SpeedGrader to annotate student submissions. To my knowledge, there isn't a way to use a HTML editor when grading student work and use the code snippet that you shared. Good idea...but I don't think it applies in this particular case.
