As you can see in the picture, which is a quiz submission from my student, her answers were still marked as incorrect even though she entered the exact correct answers (this is a fill-in-the-blank exercise). It would be lovely if someone can help me out with this. Thank you in advance.

This is just a wild guess, but take a close look at the apostrophe in the word didn't. To me, in the red boxes within your screen shot, it looks like the apostrophe is a curly apostrophe. But, one of your "Correct Answer" options almost appears that the apostrophe is just a little vertical line. (See straight and curly quotes examples here.) I wonder if that is what is going on in your quiz. If a curly apostrophe is being used, technically that is a different character than the straight one, so I could see why it is marking the answer as incorrect. Again, this is just speculation on my part, but maybe something to consider. I hope this will help a bit. Take care, stay safe, and be well.
