Submitting and assignment via TurnItIn on a Chromebook

I have a student trying to submit work via TurnItIn on a Chromebook. when she goes to click the launch external tool button it either appears blank or says cannot launch tool. 

She has managed to upload her assignment via her phone otherwise but it would be nice if she could use her laptop as intended and not resort to her phone for handing in assignments. 

Any help greatly appreciated.

Howdy,

I would suggest the student make sure their chromebook is up to date (V93).

Otherwise, I would try clearing their cache/cookies and try again.
