How to upload files from google drive or google docs?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hello @rortiz1 ...
Uploading files from your Google Drive/Google Docs account in conjunction with Canvas may mean that your school's local Canvas administrator, Online Learning, or eLearning department needs to set up the Google/Canvas integration for this to work. They may have already done that for all students at your school, but that wouldn't be something Community members would be able to determine because we do not have access to your school's Canvas environment or your course(s). However, if the Google integration is set up, and if your instructor has configured your assignments to accept Google submissions, then you may be able to use one of the following Guides:
I hope these resources will be of help to you, Rosana. Let Community members know if you have any other questions about this...thanks!
Unsure if you were able to find the answer for this, but there is a nice little Google Drive upload button on the format bar when you are creating assignments, pages, etc., as well as when you are replying to things or even posting discussion posts! Hope this helps!
Hi Rosana, where in Canvas would you like to upload your Google drive files?
I would like to be able to upload selected Google drive files to my files
in my courses on Canvas.
I would like to be able to select the file(s) from Google drive from within
a Canvas course instead of downloading a file from my drive onto
my computer, then uploading it into a file on Canvas.
If this is not possible at this time, then thank you for your help.
