I'm new to looking into the Commons and I'm not locating this specific information in the guide.
If I upload a video to the Commons and then wish to use it in another course, will the video copy into this second course? If so does this count towards its quota?
Or will the Commons provide a link to the media and have no impact on the course quota? If it is a link, is it a streaming video link or will the student need to download the video to view it? Thanks!

Hi Cindy
I do have an answer for you. The way that Commons works is you are downloading a copy of the content into your course, which does count toward the course quota. This also means that if someone updates the content after you have downloaded it you do not have the most up to date content nor will it change your content!
