Has anyone else had this issue? I am wanting to test out the PDF annotation feature for some of my courses that I design and when I create a Test Student and upload the PDF, I can see them in the grade book on my desktop, but they do not show up under "people" in the Canvas Teacher app.
I can tell Canvas knows that I submitted an assignment as the test student because my iPad app does say that 1 assignment needs grading, but when I click on the assignment, I do not have access to the Test Student instance. I know I could go through some rigamarole to make a "real" test student with an email address and all that, but I was hoping they would just show up in the app like the student does in the desktop version gradebook.

Hi @epulham ,
Unfortunately this is not possible through the Canvas Teacher (or Student) app. Your only work around is, you guessed it, to make a fake student. I would highly suggest you create a feature idea so others can add comments and vote on your ideas. You'd get me vote!
