When is the student list synchronized?

I am a TA of a class. As it is the beginning of the semester, many student enroll or leave the course.

A student who registered for the class yesterday is not yet on the student list and has no access to the course material. Until when should we wait to have the course on their dashboard after newly registered? before I may manually add them on the list.

Hi JinKim90,

Each institution has it's own integration into Canvas and depending on how that integration is setup will depend on how frequently students are enrolled and dropped for a course. I would recommend reaching out to your local Canvas Administrator or putting in a help desk with your local institution to inquire about this.

I just realized I left the university system and this website was for the general canvas system. Thanks to the reply!
