Where is the bigbluebutton to join a chat?

Hi  @veitmude  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

Big Blue Button (BBB) and Chat are two different features in Canvas.

• BBB is the application that runs Conferences a web-conference tool in Canvas, and if you have been invited to a Canvas conference, you would click the Conferences button in your Canvas classroom. Learn more at How do I join a conference in a course as a student? 
• Chat is a built-in chat room in a Canvas classroom. Learn more at How do I use Chat as a student? 

You should find instructions from your teacher in your Canvas classroom.

If you are the teacher, then you should review the Chat and Conferences chapters in the Canvas Instructor Guide.
