Workaround for external apps with no LTI integration

Our welding instructors use American Welding Society and Open Miller Book for some content delivery, and I cannot find anything about an LTI integration with Canvas. My first reaction is to just embed an iframe on a page so that students can access their logins to these platforms from within Canvas.Does anyone have other ideas about a work-around for working with external apps that don't yet have LTI integration enabled? 

I'm sure I'm not the first person to ask this question but I must not be searching within the community with the right terms!

I know nothing about the resources you mentioned, but have you considered the Redirect Tool? With this you can add external resources as a course or global navigation menu item.  Learn more at...

I use Miller Openbook in Canvas by creating assignments that use the link to the assignment. This MUST be the link from a student profile and not the one the instructor uses. I make a fake student profile, login as that student, and copy and paste the link. It is not as good as LTI however I am pretty sure both Miller and AWS have not setup anything as an LTI provider. I spoke to miller briefly at Fabtech back in 2019 and received a bit of a cold shoulder.

I know your post is a bit old but would love to know how the solution went.
