Nagios Scripts for Monitoring Canvas?

Would anyone have nagios scripts to share that you are using to monitor Canvas?

I am looking for scripts that would exercise various parts of Canvas; something more than a "ping" of the Canvas instance.

If you have other mechanisms that you are using to monitor Canvas uptime and performance, please feel free to share.

Have you looked into using the Check_HTTP plugin?  You should be able to configure it to hit the website, login and check a page.
