VeriCite Native Integration Not Creating Originality Reports?

Has anyone else had major problems with their VeriCite integration in Canvas since it was bought out by Turnitin? We are using the native integration in Canvas and have had multiple instances of papers not generating originality reports upon submission - they just hang there until the instructor goes back in and resubmits them. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with file type or time of submission. We have asked for VeriCite support to investigate since early August, but so far have had no answers. 

Thanks for any light you can shed on this! It is happening in multiple classrooms.

Today I had an instructor report that the Canvas PF (new - native to Canvas - flavor of Turnitin) only returned a report for one of the students in a course, all the others were not submitted to Turnitin.  My question is how do you re-submit with the native integration?

In the speedgrader, there should be an option below the student submission for the instructor to "resubmit to Vericite" if the original submission did not generate an originality report:

Sometimes you have to toggle back and forth between the gradebook and the speedgrader to get the button to show up - it is VERY glitchy, but it appears to force it to resubmit.
