Can't add Open Badge with signed assertion to the badgr backpack

Hello!
I have an Open Badge that has the assertion baked into my badge image via the SignedBadge assertion type (https://www.imsglobal.org/sites/default/files/Badges/OBv2p0Final/index.html#SignedBadge).
I can perfectly validate that badge via the validator tool from badgr (https://badgecheck.io/) but cannot add it to my backpack (https://badgr.com/backpack/badges).
When I try to add it I get the following error: see attachment "Screenshot 2023-01-03 182226.jpg"
When I check the network tab for the request I also noticed that the server responds with a status code of 500 which means an internal server error has occured (see attachment "Screenshot 2023-01-03 182537.jpg").
I will also put the uploaded badge in the attachments ("Test - Badge(1).png")
It seems as if the badgr backpack does not support the signed assertions. But then I question myself why not, as this is clearly layed out in the Open Badges 2.0 specifications.
Any help on this topic would be highly appreciated 🙂

Correct - the Canvas Badges Backpack does not support signed assertions. This is something we may be adding in future improvements to the software.
