Consumer Key and Shared Secret blank

I'm trying to add the Badgr app to a course, but the Consumer Key and Shared Secret fields on the Canvas Badges/Badgr page are blank.

Hi Tyson!

I have the same question. I am a teacher, and my school converted to Canvas over the summer, and I am using whatever platform they provided me. Since it is new, I doubt it is the Legacy version of Canvas.

I want to create leaderboards and badges for my students. These are for classroom purposes, not for "credentialing" in the typical sense. So, I have been trying to install Badgr from the External Apps link in course settings. (I am open to other ideas besides Badgr — anything that will give my students leaderboards and other gamification motivators.)

Hi- Please use the instructions that I provided earlier: 

• How do I install the Canvas Credentials LTI in Canvas?

This will install by ClientID and not key and secret. It will install the latest LTI for Canvas Badges/Credentials. If you continue to have issues, please email support@badgr.com
