Certificate of completion

If a  Practice quiz is set up with out a grade, if a student was to skip this part would it prevent the certificate to be issued, and also if a quiz is given a grade mark and at completion, the certificate is not issued under a passing grade?

Hi all, Has anyone used badgr (a badge) instead of a certificate?  We have a robust badge program vs certificates.  We are in the evaluation of launching catalog to organize our internal faculty training....Thank you!

We do give out badges but do it though Canvas, not Catalog. Based on the update from last week, it appears that the interface with Badgr for Catalog is coming but isn't available yet.
