Certificates not generating for some

I'm still growing with our support of Catalog and have a Catalog Administrator training listing associated with a course that I have been modifying over the years. However, now I have a few individuals who have gone through the listing but are not receiving their certificate. Questions:

  1. Is there a way to confirm/vet that they have completed the requirements on their behalf?
  2. If the listing was setup for 30 days to complete and that time has expired, can you change their "section" to give them more time?

Based on this experience, I'm thinking of shutting down this version of the course and creating a new course/listing for future individuals who need to go through the training. Love to hear from others based on their experiences.
