Clarification on New Enrollment Date Feature on Catalog
We recently started using the new Enrollment date Start/End feature in Catalog. However, it doesn't work the way we thought it would. When you add the dates to the course under the enrollment button, it just lists the course(s) as not being able to enroll (because the date hasn't come yet) similar to having the course visible but not enrollable yet. We thought it would hide the listing until the date we determined. Has anyone else used the dates? Am I missing something, or did I read too much into it?

Hi @sbarry2
The pre-defined enrollment dates are for setting a date when the courses will be enrollable, and that's it. It is now hiding the listings until the enrollment dates, they are still visible, but not enrollable.
The expected behaviour from you side would be to also hide the listings before/after the specified enrollment dates?

@KataKeri , thank you for the response. We would love if the listing was hidden until the "Enrollment Start Date". Then become active and enrollable on We have classes that we would like to fill before offering more seats in a later class.
Currently, we are doing a manual process of making courses ahead of time and hiding them until a date/notification we set on our calendar. Our vision was to make a years worth of courses ahead of time, staggering the start dates and have them become visible as the previous course date passes. In order for some of our courses to run, we need a minimum number of students enrolled. We find too many options will limit our ability to fill a class. I hope this makes sense.

@sbarry2 Got it, thank you for the clarification. I'll make a note of it, and I'll update you once we've considered this improvement.
