Catalog Release Notes (2024-08-26)

In this Catalog release (August 26), during checkout, a pop-up message informs users that all sales of bulk seats are final and that unused seats cannot be refunded or transferred. Additionally, the Catalog Promotions page is updated to equip admins with improved filtering and search functionality. Also, waitlisted users cannot enroll in a course when the Open for Enrollment option is turned off or if the Open for Enrollment option is turned on and the enrollment period has ended. And, the Date Input Field is updated with a drop-down menu to select the year.

Promotions Page Improvement

The Catalog Promotions page is updated to equip admins with improved filtering and search functionality.

The new Promotions tab provides improved methods to view, filter, and sort promotions.

Note: Promotions (old) tab will be removed after August 26th, 2024. 

Enter text in the Search for Promotions field to filter or search the promotions. In the Promotions table, each promotion displays the course name, promotion status, discount amount, Catalog, code, and actions to edit or delete the promotion. These options can be sorted for quicker navigation.

Open for Enrollment Behavior

Waitlisted students cannot enroll in a course when the Open for Enrollment option is turned off or if the Open for Enrollment option is turned on and the enrollment period has ended. Previously, waitlisted students could enroll in courses that were closed for enrollment.

Date Input Field

The Date Input Field is updated with a drop-down menu to select the year. 

This update allows users to easily change the year selection without moving between months one by one.
