New Features

Post Enrollment Nudge Email Reminders

Summary

The Nudge feature is expanded to include post-enrollment behavior triggers, enabling admins to automatically re-engage learners who have enrolled but haven’t started their course.

Change Benefit

Admins can automate follow-ups for inactive students, reduce manual outreach, and increase visibility into post-enrollment behavior.

Feature Workflow

Admins can configure automated email nudges to be sent a set number of days after a student enrolls in a course. These nudges are based on time elapsed rather than course activity and are customizable per listing. Each automation can be fine-tuned by timing and optional completion filters. This feature does not track course progress or logins. It sends reminders based solely on time since enrollment, offering a lightweight and scalable way to nudge students who may have delayed starting.

Optional Enrollment Restriction by Email Domain

This feature is available in the Beta environment as of 2025-10-21 and the Production environment on 2025-11-03.

Summary

Admins can choose to enforce domain-based access for both registration and enrollment. This provides additional protection for listings by ensuring only users from approved domains can complete the full access process. Current functionality stays the same, unless the option is enabled.

Change Benefit

This enhancement lets admins apply domain restrictions to both registration and enrollment, strengthening access control without altering existing behavior, increases protection for protected listings, and supports catalog and subcatalog inheritance for consistent enforcement.

Feature Workflow

View Apply Domain Restriction to Enrollment OptionView Apply Domain Restriction to Enrollment Option

The Apply domain restriction to enrollment option displays in the Email Domain Restrictions for Registration and Enrollment section. Setting the option to Yes ensures that users with unapproved domains cannot enroll in protected listings. If the option remains off, restrictions continue to apply only to registration.

Subcatalogs inherit enrollment restriction rules by default but can override them. When inheritance is enabled, the domain restriction controls are disabled and the inherited setting is displayed. If a subcatalog overrides the parent setting, it can apply its own rule for enrollment restriction.

View Approved Domain MessageView Approved Domain Message

When enrollment restriction is active, a user with a blocked domain who attempts to enroll sees a message indicating that enrollment is limited to approved email domains, and the Enroll button is hidden. This behavior applies to both free and paid listings, respecting catalog and subcatalog configuration.
