My suspicion is the answer to this question is no, because folks mention things like "admin" for accessing use statistics for content shared in Commons, but since the answer to this question will completely determine if we share in Commons, I thought I would ask. I have a free-for-teacher account and am uploading some courses. The co-instructors and I would be open to sharing the content on Commons but only if we could get some sort of statistics that would tell us about used (download numbers etc would be sufficient, we don't need anything detailed). But to show value to those who are evaluating us, we need to be able to show how often our content is being accessed. I haven't been able to find anything that concretely says one way or another, but possibly someone knows for sure. Can free-for-teacher accounts see use statistics for content they share on Commons? If not, we'll have to only share our content through other means.
Thanks to anyone who can shed light!
