Creation of a common channel

Dear Community, as a teaching assistant I would very much like to create a space in which both students and teachers can post videos, articles, blogs and pictures related to the program they are following.

What is the best way to do that?

I would like them to have access to it without linking it to a specific course (as would happen in case we would use the discussion board), allowing them to embed LinkedIn links, as well as other URLs.

Is the RSS feed an effective solution? If yes, any idea on how to import it on canvas?

Thank you all in advance!

Currently, the best way to do this would be to create a course shell and assign those students you want to have access to it, you could also set the course to be public https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-include-a-course-in-the-Public-Course-I... this would allow for anyone to access the course to post content
