Hello, I am not sure if its already been answered or not but my question is this. Two different students at two different times have told me they submitted a assignment on canvas, however, nothing is showing up on my end. Nothing in speed grader nothing in the grade book expect a dash (-). Most of the students are either using a google platform if it matters and/or their Ipad. I am using the free version of Canvas and I am new to this. So is this a possible issue?
Hi there @angrisj2 ,
Thanks for reaching out on the Instructure Community!
I see that you're using the canvas.instructure.com FFT URL. The Google assignments LTI is not available on that instance. How are your students submitting these Google assignments, and have you by chance asked to see their view (either in person or seeing a screenshot) to see if the submission details appear?
For FFT, I recommend having your students save their documents as PDFs and attaching those as the assignment submission instead of using Google or another service. Since these services are not built into FFT, that results in those submission types often failing.

I find that when this happens with my students they click the first blue button but not that second. They think that if they just put in the url or type in the textbox then they are good. They don't seem to get it that they need to "open" the submission process with the first blue submit button and then "close" the process with the second blue submit button. I typically have to remind my students regularly.
