LTI launch request data inconsistent with Canvas mobile app

Has anyone else come across this one? We are using the LTI launch request with an in-house quiz tool but the Canvas mobile app sends inconsistent data compared to the Canvas web app. For example, while the web app will correctly send the title of the *link* as it appears in Canvas as part of the LTI launch data (in the field "resource_link_title"), the mobile app sends the course title (and not the link title) in the same field. In other words, if a student launches from their desktop browser they will see a window with a title like "Assignment One" whereas the same student launching from their mobile app will see the title appear as "ENGGEN131" (the course code).
Is this a bug? How do I raise it as an issue?
