Reorder Global Navigation Icons

Hi!

Our IC provided code for hiding Global Navigation icons:

  a#global_nav_calendar_link.ic-app-header__menu-list-link {
  display: none !important;  
}

Does anyone know how we would reorder icons in Global Nav? Specifically, we want to prioritize the Help icon, which is currently "below the fold" for many of our users.

There may be an easier way to do this, but one option could be to use a quick JavaScript override to move the help menu above another item. 

Here is an example:

$("#global_nav_dashboard_link").parent().prepend($("#global_nav_help_link").parent());

The above code takes the entire list item where the Help button is located and prepends it above the 'Dashboard' button. If you want to put it above the profile picture, replace #global_nav_dashboard_link with #global_nav_profile_link. 

If you quickly run the above code in the JavaScript console of your browser, you should see how it would work. 

Again, there may be an easier way to do this, but I hope this helps a bit. Good luck!
