[Accessibility] Review fonts in Courses
There are some fonts within a Canvas course that are difficult to read due to size and italicization. For example, the font in which the term information appears above the course navigation menu (below the course name) is not only pretty small, it's also italicized, further decreasing readability. Another example is the mouse over text for course navigation links that are hidden from students (reads "Disabled. Not visible to students.") is even smaller white font on a black background. Web accessibility expectations have been raised to a higher standard than ever before. With the current a spotlight on web accessibility, it's important to institutions that the tools they use to carry out their missions are removing barriers for all users, rather than causing them frustration.
Review standard (hard-coded) system and course fonts for compliance with newer accessibility standards and make adjustments to increase readability by all users.
