Thank you very much for adding this. I would agree with others that it would be huge as an admin to be able to turn this on as one of the default on calendars for everyone. This is a great step forward but now we need to get the word out to everyone to turn it on. Thank you though for at least this piece!
Yes, we need calendars for students to know what to do each day. It would be helpful to have live classes along with readings, quizzes, assignments and discussions all showing on a student's calendar each day by class (possibly color coded by class).
This feature has so much potential, thanks for adding it to the Beta!
One feature that would be appreciated for students to be automatically subscribed to the root account calendar, rather than students having to opt in. It is hard to have confidence that new students will be able to know when the last day of add/drop is, if they haven't figured out how to opt in to the school calendar.
